AvyanRise Foundation is a Section 8 not-for-profit organisation working with rural and tribal communities to build stronger people, opportunities, and local systems. Youth and education are our primary focus, supported by work in livelihoods and skills, community well-being, and nature and climate resilience. We use research and innovation as enablers to understand local realities, connect existing strengths and opportunities, and develop practical, community-rooted approaches for sustainable change.
Rural and tribal communities have deep strengths, knowledge, and potential, yet many continue to face interconnected challenges in education, livelihoods, opportunities, community well-being, and the changing natural environment. AvyanRise exists to work alongside communities, young people, schools, local institutions, and partners to strengthen these foundations, create meaningful pathways, and support communities to shape resilient and sustainable futures.
Our vision defines the future we aspire to create, while our mission guides the work we do every day to achieve lasting impact
Thriving Communities in Harmony with Nature
Rural and tribal communities thriving with dignity, with youth rising from strong roots to strengthen land, culture & community.
Strengthening People, Communities & Opportunities
We work with rural and tribal communities to strengthen youth, education, livelihoods, wellbeing & care for nature through the Roots–Rise–Thrive–Serve journey.
We honour local culture, traditions, knowledge, and identity, building on community strengths rather than replacing them.
We strengthen people's capabilities so individuals and communities can thrive independently long after our work is complete.
We act with honesty, transparency, accountability, and respect in everything we do.
We care for and restore nature, biodiversity, and cultural heritage for present and future generations.
We see every individual as capable, resourceful, and deserving of respect and opportunity.
We believe lasting change is community-led and community-owned.
We measure success not by how long communities need us, but by how confidently communities thrive on their own."
Our leadership brings together expertise in research, management, programme design, and community development. United by a shared commitment to equity, innovation, and evidence-based action, we work alongside communities to create lasting and meaningful change.
